I am so excited to be a part of the electives team at Citrus!  The road here has been a bit long and winding, but it has been well worth it.  Here’s a little bit about me, for those of you who are curious...

I love school, and I enjoy being a student as much as I enjoy teaching.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UCLA.  Prior to this, I studied at CSULB in Architectural design (and I nearly have a 2nd degree in this area).  Once I finished my degree at UCLA, I began a multiple-subject (elementary) credential program.  Currently, I have my Master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Education, a Multiple-Subject credential, a Single Subject credential in Industrial Arts and Technology as well as an Administrative Services credential.  Whew!  Highly Qualified??  Totally!

I am an elementary teacher at heart, having taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades for the first 5 years of my teaching career.  Although my experience has been in the primary grades, throughout this time I have has a focus on educational technology.  Having recently opened a new elementary school, and facilitated and trained staff and students in technology,  a position teaching technology was calling my name...

...so this is my 6th year teaching technology in intermediate and I love it!  Teaching 3D Modeling is such always fun and really stretches my skills while I develop others' competencies.

Well, that brings me here, and you up to speed.  I look forward to building relationships and learning with  each and every one of you!
